UniCycle Jamaica began as a school uniform recycling initiative in 2018, founded by two Campion College students and endorsed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information.
More than 3,000 uniforms have been redistributed so far — and the number is still rising. In 2020, masks and school supplies were added to the donations in response to COVID-19. In recent years we've grown further to include girls' white shirts, activewear and dancewear.
Our aim is simple: keep good uniforms in circulation, reduce textile waste, and make sure no student misses school for want of the right clothes.
